I. Overview

The beginning, according to absolutely nobody

Within the taxonomy of the Lord of the Queefs archive, the Ancestral Queef occupies the root position: the imagined precursor from which every later historical branch is said to descend.

The archive calls the root LUCQ. The initials lend it the air of a discovery; the catalog number supplies the rest of its authority.

The Institute placed AQ.000 at c. 300,000 BCE, gave the family tree a satisfyingly ancient root, and moved on.

    The putative AQ.000 event. No location, witness, acoustic profile, or physical trace is known, because the event is made up.

  2. Immediately after
    The First Awkward Silence

    Traditionally reconstructed as lasting between one and four seconds. The estimate has a confidence interval of “please stop asking.”

  3. Shortly thereafter
    The Proto-Misattribution Event

    A hypothetical attempt to blame the sound on geology, seating material, or another member of the group. None of those explanations can be verified either.
